The #HKTDC and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed an MoU at this year’s #BeltandRoad Summit in #HongKong, paving the way for business missions, conferences and training programmes as well as formalised channels for information exchange and collaboration. The MoU intends to further enhance business relations and builds on recent significant bilateral agreements signed by the two regions, including the Comprehensive Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreement (CDTA) and the Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (IPPA), which offer financial safeguards to foster direct investment and joint ventures.
