"That's What She Said" is a groundbreaking platform that bridges the gap between global issues and the lived experiences of young women around the world. We equip young women with the skills and confidence to use podcasting as a powerful tool for storytelling, community building, and social change. Building a Global Sisterhood: We create a supportive community where young women can connect, share their perspectives, and learn from one another. Our pilot season brought together young girls and women from South Africa, with the season tackling issues related to the Orange, Green, and Blue Economies – creative industries, sustainable development, and ocean conservation. These issues are often discussed on a global scale, but their impact is deeply felt in local communities. Our young podcasters translate complex topics into relatable stories, sparking conversations and inspiring action. Empowering Voices, Amplifying Change: Through training workshops, we provide young women with the technical skills and knowledge needed to produce podcasts on their mobile phones.
