  • Strengthening Team Dynamics at PKF Zambia Chartered Accountants! Our recent team-building event at the Lusaka office was a resounding success! Partner Thulile K. Mumba kicked off the day with a focus on teamwork and communication, setting the stage for a day filled with collaborative activities. Participants were divided into teams and engaged in interactive challenges designed to foster collaboration, trust, and innovative thinking. From problem-solving exercises to creative tasks, each activity strengthened interpersonal bonds and enhanced team dynamics. Beyond the fun, this event offered valuable insights into our team dynamics. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting how these interactions in a relaxed setting broke down barriers and built stronger relationships among colleagues. Looking ahead, we remain committed to fostering a supportive work environment where team development is paramount. As Phil Jackson aptly said, "The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team." #TeamBuilding #Collaboration #EmployeeEngagement

  • With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we inform you of the passing away of our staff and friend, Mr. Lewis Mumba, who left us on Sunday, 4th August 2024, after an illness. Mr. Mumba served our firm and its precursor firms with dedication, diligence, and commitment over many years. His last role was as Senior Manager - Accounts at our Lusaka Office. He was not just a co-worker but a cherished friend. We will miss him dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. The funeral program is attached.

Welcome to Zambia 🇿🇲 Volunteers from PKF member firms in France, Germany and South Africa arrived in Zambia last weekend, ready to take part in a two-week humanitarian mission organised by PKF Zambia Chartered Accountants. We’re delighted to introduce you to our five volunteers: Alexandre Bazillon and Laura Bascaules from PKF Arsilon, Sibylle Claß and Beatrix Lamprecht from PKF WULF GRUPPE and Kiara Rugbar from PKF Durban. The team will mainly work at the Lubasi Children’s Home, supporting the children with their education and day-to-day care. After a warm welcome from PKF Zambia Managing Partner Antony Ranjan and the children and staff at the Lubasi Children’s Home, the volunteers were treated as guests of honour and enjoyed songs and dances performed by the children to celebrate their arrival. It’s wonderful to see #PKFPeople connecting across borders to work together, build relationships and make a real difference in our communities. PKF Global CEO Theo Vermaak said, ‘This is such an amazing initiative. Thanks to all the firms and volunteers for your support for the work our Zambian colleagues have been leading for such a long time. Together we do make an even bigger difference.’ #BeTheChange #TeamPKF #BelongTogether

  • PKF Zambia, alongside our volunteer staff in the Humanitarian Program from PKF WULF ENGELHARDT KG, PKF Durban and PKF Arsilon came together for a special CSR activity. We dedicated our efforts to Maramba Old People's Home, Lubasi Home for Orphans and Vulnerable Children, and Lushomo for Sexually Abused Children. Our team spent the day cleaning, cooking, and sharing meals with the residents. We also provided essential items like blankets, jerseys and covered the needs of these institutions for a month. Our theme, "PKF Zambia cares for the People and the Environment," reflects our commitment to giving back to the community. In the past, we have rehabilitated and built classroom blocks, drilled boreholes, provided school desks, and planted orchard gardens for a number of schools. We encourage the business community to join us in supporting our vulnerable community members. Together, we can make a difference! #PKFZambia #CSRDay2024 #CommunitySupport
