No moss growing under DWA's corporate wheels.
... DreamWorks Animation has picked up the movie rights to Maintenance, an Oni Press comic book, nabbing it out of turnaround from Warner Bros. ...
DreamWorks has two features going into release next year, Puss in Boots and Kung Fu Panda II.
And today I got a call from the studio informing me they were installing a medical clinic (affiliated with The Motion Picture and Television Fund) on the campus. Animation Guild members will have a co-pay of $5 if they opt to visit the physician there.

That is such incredible news! What a great idea. And jobs, too!
Kudos, Dreamworks!
When I was working at and around Disney in the 70s & 80s, they were always in a blur of development and picked up projects. Of course, not all went into production... but at least it kept the pipeline full and spirits up. I can't recall the last time Disney (or any studio) was always pushing development. It seems only Dreamworks is convinced animated features will continue to thrive.
