Established in 1969, the company is based out of Dubai with branches in Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Ajman, & Fujairah. Furthermore the company has begun expanding internationally with the opening of its branch in Libya to provide services for a number of large scale urban development projects being undertaken by the Libyan Government. The company is also targeting to expand its operations in several other countries within the MENA region.     Required Design Architect Al Gurg Consultants is currently looking for Design Architect (BIM) to join our dynamic team and support various types of building projects. Requirements for the Senior Architect (BIM) position are as follows: Responsibilities & Tasks: - Prepare presentations, 3d animations, 3d renders for Clients proposals - Review and understand the project requirements to start the design work - Prepare the deliverables list and timelines for each stage of the project and monitor the progress daily - Prepare design and Authority checklists and monitor the progress daily - Prepare architectural concept, schematic and detailed designs in BIM - Supervise the preparation of the final detailed designs by assigned draftsmen - Attend design meetings with Clients and other Consultants - Coordinate with the Authority Follow-up department until final approvals - Provide inputs to the Contract department for financial proposals - Keep a record and update lists such as correspondences, RFIs, variations, design changes, deliverables, issues, checklists and monitor the progress of implementation - Provide technical support to queries from tenderers / construction sites, visit construction sites for design related issues (if required) - Perform detailed model review to meet LOD 200, 300, and 350 requirements - Update BIM guidelines, BEPs, BIM libraries with the support of draftsmen - Perform BIM QA/QC process based on agreed checklists and standards - Lead the coordination of the design and monitor the other lead disciplines' works - Responsible for the successful completion of the project from start to finish Qualifications: - 8+ Years of experience working within an architectural, engineering, consulting organization - UAE experience - University Degree in Architecture - Certificate in BIM (Autodesk or equivalent) - Detailed knowledge of all LOD requirements - Advanced Software skills in Autodesk programs (required): Revit, Navisworks, Autocad - Advanced Software skills in 2d/3d/Visualization programs (preferred): Enscape, Lumion - Understanding of multidisciplinary coordination through good design practice - Working knowledge of MS Office programs - Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, under pressure to meet deadlines - Good communication skills with competency in English - Complete other related tasks assigned by the manager Job Type: Full-time Send CV to career@algurg.net

    REQUIRED ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (Design & Supervision) Deliver high quality Electrical designs & supervision that match the clients' needs in full compliance with the Architectural, Mechanical and Structural designs to ensure the best utilization of company resources in accordance with the overall projects’ objectives. Prepare all design drawings and calculation related to: Light, Power, telephone, low current, security and safety (Voltage drop calculations– Electrical load schedule - lux level calculation – details – Section & General notes & values). Participate in preparing technical specifications related to all designed systems and recommend brands that match and comply with specs (during design stage). Prepare all required design documents for Authorities Approval. Attend Technical meetings and inspection with Client and Authorities. Coordinate with all parties (MEP, Architectural, Structural, Contracts and Follow-up Dept.) Provide technical support and feedback to the site and design team. Conduct regular site visits to ensure that execution is as per contract documents. Follow-up and support with the draftsmen while preparing drawings. Issue Field Instruction, NCRs, Letters, Reply to Contractor Queries & RFIs. Manage and Control variations related to changes that might come as per Client request, Authorities as site condition requirements.     Required Site Architect We are currently looking for a Site Architect to join our Supervision Department. Candidate must have overall 5 – 8 years of experience in same / similar role preferred with an engineering consultant in U.A.E. and holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering. Job requirements : Review Architectural/ ID shop-drawings, Materials Submittals, samples and mockups as per project drawings and specifications. Attend the finishes review meetings and successfully handle any finishing related item in close coordination with the client and project R.E till the final approval and providing the necessary records. Attending and handling contractor's requests for inspection in accordance with approved materials and shop-drawings. Providing Architectural site details, sketches whenever required and as directed by the project R.E. Be able to respond to Architectural RFI's issued by the contractor in a professional way providing the best technical solution with minimum contractual implication. Be able to determine the site defects/ non-compliance during the different progress stages and to issue the necessary NCR's and Field Instruction's to the contractor. Follow-up and inspect contractor’s Corrective Actions to close the issued NCR's and Field instructions. Oversee the Authority Inspections in its approval / rejection. Able to provide snag list and to attend the de-snagging at project closeout stage. Oversee the client’s inspection, take remarks and follow up correction with contractor as applicable.
