TII is proud to share that our researchers contributed as inventors in 5 out of 14 selected digital signature schemes announced by The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), as the list of the candidate algorithms selected for the second round of the Additional Digital Signatures for the NIST PQC Standardization Process. Following 14 candidates advanced to Round 2 from 40 submissions accepted by NIST in 2023. This process aims to assess public-key digital signature algorithms for potential standardization to safeguard sensitive information into the foreseeable future, even in the presence of powerful quantum computers. The selected schemes will augment recently released quantum-safe cryptographic standards by NIST.
