This makes breast cancer the most common cancer worldwide, with over 2.3 million new cases reported annually. While advancements in treatment have significantly improved survival rates, the disease remains a major health challenge. Early detection through regular screening is very important, as it can increase the chances of successful treatment and long-term survival. Unfortunately, many individuals either delay or skip screenings, leading to missed opportunities for early diagnosis. Shockingly, about 40% of breast cancer cases are only detected at later stages, when treatment becomes more complicated and survival rates decline. The late diagnosis often occurs due to a lack of awareness, limited access to healthcare, or the absence of noticeable symptoms during the early stages. This emphasizes the importance of awareness campaigns that promote regular mammograms and self-examinations.
