We are thrilled to share that Daimler Trucks & Buses MENA recently held its first ever Regional TeCHamp competition, recognizing top performers across our distributor networks. The TeCHamp program was created to honor frontline employees who exemplify our purpose of keeping the world moving. It also serves as an opportunity to identify skills gaps and provide additional training. Over 40 service technicians, parts advisors and sales representatives from 16 countries participated after first winning at their national level. The national winners showcased their expertise in diagnosis, measurement, product knowledge and client-facing skills. For the technicians, tasks included vehicle diagnosis, electrical circuit testing and component-level measurements. Advisors faced role plays, multiple choice questions and a general trucking quiz. After two days of intense challenges for our Mercedes-Benz Trucks and FUSO brands, we crowned the top three in each category as Regional TeCHamps. The winners were honored with trophies, medals and certificates. Participant feedback was stellar, with both events averaging 4.8/5 stars. It was hugely motivating to see such talent and commitment to excellence across the region. We believe that with this initiative, our commitment to providing outstanding service in the region will only become stronger. A big thank you to all who took part and helped us strengthen our focus on training.
