We’re thrilled to announce a landmark Joint Venture with Ethiopian Airlines, signed today at their headquarters in Addis Ababa. This strategic partnership will transform connectivity between Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, unlocking stunning networks of both airlines and providing passengers with seamless connections. Starting 1 October 2025, Etihad Airways will commence nonstop flights from Abu Dhabi to Addis Ababa, marking our fifteenth new destination for 2025. Ethiopian Airlines will also begin flights to Abu Dhabi from 15 July 2025. This collaboration includes a codeshare arrangement, offering greater travel opportunities across both networks. Employee Engagement Forum, Game On! 🎉 Last Wednesday, we came together at Zayed Sports City for an unforgettable Employee Engagement Forum. A day filled with collaboration, competition, and celebration! The day featured an inspiring keynote by CEO Antonoaldo Neves, competitive games, and a celebration of our colleagues on their 20-year milestone in Etihad. The event was a true showcase of teamwork and passion - a huge thank you to our employees that made this day possible.
