 Since 2019 we have hosted 40+ conferences and gave more than 35 000 participants the opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals, potential partners, and industry influencers, fostering valuable relationships that can drive growth and success in the eCommerce.     Yesterday, we hosted our 6th IDRF | International Digital Retail Forum meetup in Dubai. It was the longest in our history: almost 4 hours of deep, industrial, and insightful content from the key players in the industry! We discussed the vital role of integrating online and offline commerce strategies, content creation, retail media, CRM, omnichannel approaches, marketing, operations, and consumer behavior in driving global E-commerce growth.   • What's the role of AI in e-commerce in 2024? 🤔 Here are the insights from Elena, representative of one of the biggest Korean online retailer: ↳ The importance of detail pages and content is more important than ever: Effectively presented and well-curated product information can significantly influence sales. ↳ AI perfectly suits small businesses: Small businesses encounter significant barriers with image permissions. AI can resolve these challenges by simplifying compliance, allowing businesses to focus on core operations. ↳ AI simplifies work with content: AI connected to content is one of the key implementations of AI in e-commerce. AI can assist in generating, curating, and optimizing content, making it more relevant and appealing to consumers. As Korea continues to lead in technological innovation, we believe these insights should be proactively implemented in other markets as well to gain competitive advantage.

  • Social Selling is one of the key trends on social media. Especially in Ecommerce. But very few approach it right. At its core, social selling is the practice of using social networks to find, connect with, engage, and nurture sales prospects. It's the modern way to develop meaningful relationships with potential customers, so you're the first person or brand they think of when they're ready to buy. What's the most important element to build a successful social selling strategy? Here's the answer from Dylan DongHwi Park, Managing Director at Leferi , one of the leading Korea's influencers' management platforms: "I think the most important issue in social selling, not just in social selling in 2024, but in fact in media-based distribution for a long time is the truthfulness of information. I mean, consumers are so smart now, and they have so many avenues to find information, and so you can see how much risk you can be in if you’re a brand, if you’re a social media influencer, if you’re communicating the wrong information, and so there are more tools now, more tools to uncover that truth, and so I think the most important thing in social selling, whether it’s as a brand, whether it’s as an influencer, is to communicate the truth about your product, about your brand."
