Considering the upcoming Future Hospitality Summit - Saudi Arabia 2025, Oussama El Kadiri, Partner – Head of Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure Advisory, highlighted the Kingdom’s record-breaking SAR 444.3 billion GDP contribution from tourism in 2023, accounting for 11.5% of the national economy. He emphasised that Saudi Arabia is committed to enhancing its tourism sector by creating new investment opportunities and setting industry standards in line with Vision 2030. Oussama also pointed out that international arrivals reached 30 million in 2024, up from 27.4 million in 2023, reflecting the sector’s rapid expansion and growing investment opportunities. He noted that major upcoming events like the 2029 Asian Winter Games, Expo 2030, and FIFA World Cup 2034 will further boost Saudi Arabia’s hospitality sector and enhance its global reputation. 7 Emirates Run 4 Autism – Day 5 🏃🏻 Stephen Beard, Global Head of Data Centres and Si Lau, Surveyor, are currently undertaking a remarkable 10-day, 640km ultra-marathon across the UAE. This initiative, in partnership with the Dubai Autism Center, aims to raise $1,000,000 for autism awareness and support. As of the close of Day 4 (Monday, 17th), the duo has covered 210km, equivalent to five marathons. Our survey for The Saudi Report 2025 reveals that the highest level of interest in home ownership in the giga projects sits among Saudi nationals on monthly incomes in excess of SAR 50,000 (93%), while around half (54%) of Saudi-based expats want to buy property for personal use in any of the giga projects.
