What a fantastic #iftar we had yesterday with Juhi Yasmeen Khan and @Dar Al Ber Society with #speciallyabled kids and their families! We even got to see talent show by these amazing kids supported by their proud families. It was lovely to see inspirational Juhi in action. We all know her as a philanthropist who has helped many people in need. Our #Sustainabilitytribe has been sending our Tribe to Dar Al Ber Society for many years now to donate things, so there was a special feeling yesterday to see their work. I invite our Tribe to come forward and support the work of Juhi and Dar Al Ber Society. #ramadan #spiritoframadan

Tribe, look, here is a cute little member of #SustainabilityTribe along with her mum, Leila Naguib, she celebrated #worldrecyclingday She and her mum first learned from our video tutorial, discussed it, and then set up a #recycling station at home. She is keenly interested in #recycling and #sustainablelifestyle. Very proud of this future leader! Conincidently, her mother shared their story yesterday on UNESCO's first ever international day of #digitallearning , making this story even more sweet ♻️ This is a perfect example of how our Sustainability Tribe community is always active behind the scenes, learning from the resources we created over 15 years to provide quality #sustainabilityeducation for the public. This is how Sustainability Tribe- the Middle East's pioneering and fully digital social enterprise - continues to educate and inspire actionable #climateaction influence real actions and creates genuine #impacts in the societies. Dear business world, thank you for all the messages, campaigns, events, and initiatives today to celebrate women and their contributions across industry sectors! It feels great to be a woman on International Women's Day! But what we really need is, ✅️ Equal opportunities when hiring or promoting and equal pay. ✅️ Women's active involvement (not just representation) in research, policy making, decision making, and execution for every industry sector and field. ✅️ More research on women's health and incorporating findings at the workplace. ✅️ Understanding women's role in their personal lives as mothers, daughters, etc. and creating supportive culture at the workplace. Motherhood isn't a one year job to conclude it by providing feeding rooms and maternity leaves. ✅️ If you are hiring us to increase the organization's gender ration to show progress on your annual sustainability report, then don't just give us a physical seat at the table but accept our active contributions, too. ✅️ What our world needs is collective mindset change to remove double standards and personal, cultural biases around women and their ambitions, capabilities, and their role in our society. #women in our trube, what more will you add to this list? Tribe, recently Boston Consulting Group (BCG) hosted a beautiful gala event and V60 exhibition to celebrate 60 #women from #Middleeast who have paved path for #sustainablefuture I met so many wonderful and inspiring women leaders and experts from Qatar, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Gaza- Palestine, etc. The #BCG team took great efforts to select these women and host very creative, thoughtful and out of the box events to bring together all of them so that they can network, collaborate, and partner.
