Last month, talabat UAE hosted the 2nd Edition of the Delivering Excellence Town Hall in partnership with Abu Dhabi Mobility, to enhance road safety for delivery riders in the Emirate. The Town Hall included several training sessions on safe driving practices targeting over 400 riders, led by trainers from Emirates Driving Center. These sessions highlighted the progress in the industry and the shared responsibility of all road users towards delivery riders to ensure safety. Our CEO, Tomaso Rodriguez, took the stage at the AI Advantage Series - co-hosted by DIFC Innovation Hub and du - with a talk on "The Future of Entrepreneurship."  This was the first of four sessions diving into how AI is changing the game for entrepreneurs. During his keynote, Tomaso shared personal stories from his career, mixing them with insights on how AI is revolutionizing business strategies and boosting innovation and productivity in the delivery sector. Every year, we launch our Summer Together campaign to support rider safety and wellbeing during the summer months. Our CEO Tomaso Rodriguez leads by example, regularly taking on shifts to identify areas for continuous improvement. This year, we multiplied the rest areas around the region -  for example, in the UAE we now have 6000 areas, in collaboration with industry peers, restaurant partners, and authorities such as the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Roads and Transport Authority, Abu Dhabi Mobility - ADMobility. Other initiatives include: 🔸 26K windshields protecting devices from overheating 🔸 51K thermal bottles and 42K snoods distributed to riders 🔸 11 solar-powered rest stations equipped with water dispensers, phone chargers, TV screens, and air pressure pump stations 🔸 14K indoor rest areas and engagement activities in collaboration with partners We kindly ask everyone to greet all riders with a smile, kind words, and a cool bottle of water this summer.
