التضخم السنوي في مصر ينخفض ‎قالت رئيس قسم البحوث بشركة زيلا كابيتال آية زهير في تصريحات خاصة لـCNN بالعربية، إن تراجع التضخم السنوي يعود جزئيا إلى تأثير سنة الأساس، ‎حيث باتت الأسعار الحالية تقارن بمستويات مرتفعة سجلتها العام الماضي بسبب انخفاض قيمة الجنيه حينها، مما يجعل نسبة التضخم تبدو أقل حتى لو استمرت الأسعار في الارتفاع. ‎وأضافت زهير، أن القرارات الاقتصادية الأخيرة تشير إلى استمرار استقرار الأسعار، وتوقعت أن يؤدي هذا الاستقرار إلى خفض أسعار الفائدة خلال الاجتماع المقبل للجنة السياسات النقدية. Renewable energy dominates Egypt’s new investment strategy. Egypt is prioritizing renewable energy in its new investment plan to become a regional energy hub, officials announced after a meeting between Planning Minister Rania al-Mashat and Electricity Minister Mahmoud Essmat on Tuesday. The discussions focused on the electricity and renewable energy sector’s investment strategy for fiscal year 2025/26. Al-Mashat emphasised the sector’s critical role in economic development and outlined the goal of achieving 42% of installed capacity from renewables by 2030. She highlighted the importance of attracting private sector investment and promoting sustainable resource management. In honour of International Women’s Day, Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Statistics released data highlighting the increasing role of Saudi women in the workforce, leadership positions and entrepreneurship. Saudi Arabia is home to 9.8mn women, with 36.2% participating in the labour force as of 3Q24. The employment-to-population ratio for Saudi women reached 31.3%, reflecting steady progress in workforce inclusion. The report also shows that more Saudi women are stepping into leadership and business roles. In 2024, 78,356 Saudi women held senior management positions, while 551,318 registered businesses in 2023. Freelancing is also on the rise, with 449,725 obtaining freelance work permits in 2023. Meanwhile, the tourism industry saw a boost in female employment, with 111,259 working in tourism-related jobs in 2024.
