    How are you doing today? How may I assist you? Such simple questions, yet it can profoundly impact someone's day, especially when directed at a new joiner. Let me explain. When you hire someone, do you ever ask yourself: What am I going to bring to them? How am I going to do it? Which tools will I use? And most importantly: How much time will I dedicate to their growth? 🌻 Think of it like nurturing a new plant. When you bring a new plant home, you prepare the soil, place it in the right light, and water it every day. Similarly, a new employee needs the right environment, information, training, and time to flourish. A detailed orientation plan is a must. I've seen many instances where an employee reaches the end of their probation period without having a single meeting! 😢 This period is a valuable opportunity to discuss performance, get to know each other, train, and assess fit. But if our colleagues don’t receive the right information, training, or time to understand the culture, vision, and goals, how can we make a decision that significantly impacts their life? Whether they stay or leave, this period is crucial for every employee. Even seasoned professionals need time to adapt to a new environment and may have doubts or be seeking reassurance. This is a win-win game. When we invest in our employees, we do more than just ask them to contribute to our team and grow our company. What we receive in return reflects what we give. Let's not forget that every person has potential, waiting to be nurtured in the right place and time.
