Este programa está diseñado para empoderar a organizaciones sin fines de lucro conectándolas con empresas tecnológicas que ofrecen servicios pro-bono y de bajo costo para desarrollar soluciones de inteligencia artificial con impacto social. 📊 A través de esta iniciativa, CRIES no solo fortalecerá sus esfuerzos hacia el desarrollo sostenible, sino que también expandirá nuestros proyectos de protección ambiental en la región. El Programa AI for Changemakers promueve la colaboración entre organizaciones sin fines de lucro y empresas tecnológicas para abordar los desafíos sociales más urgentes con tecnología de vanguardia en IA. 💡 El programa busca crear alianzas estratégicas entre organizaciones sin fines de lucro y empresas tecnológicas para aumentar el impacto, optimizar procesos y acelerar el cumplimiento de objetivos, además de ofrecer educación especializada y apoyo en la implementación de IA. 🗓️ Se desarrollará desde abril de 2024 hasta diciembre de 2026. 🌍 CRIES has been selected to participate in the AI for Climate Cohort as part of the AI for Changemakers Program, an initiative led by Tech To The Rescue. This program is designed to empower nonprofits by connecting them with tech companies offering pro-bono and low-bono services to develop impactful AI solutions. 📊 Through this initiative, CRIES will not only strengthen its efforts toward sustainable development but also expand our environmental protection projects in the region. The AI for Changemakers Program fosters collaboration between nonprofits and tech companies to address pressing social challenges with cutting-edge AI technology. 💡 The program aims to foster strategic partnerships between nonprofits and tech companies to increase impact, streamline processes, and accelerate goal achievement, while also providing specialized education and support for AI implementation. 🗓️It will run from April 2024 to December 2026. Yesterday we held the first LACin Talks, which are monthly quick virtual events with representatives of international organizations related to sustainability and investment. We were delighted to welcome Andrei Serbin Pont and Fermín Selva from The CRIES - Coordinadora Regional de Investigaciones Económicas y Sociales. About CRIES: Founded in 1982 in Managua, it is a network of research centers, non-governmental organizations, professional associations and foundations that promote economic and social research in Latin America and the Greater Caribbean. Since 2016, it has become a regional think tank. CRIES' mission is to deepen the participation of civil society in regional integration processes and in the formulation and implementation of public policies, as well as to promote an agenda for commercial, social, political and cultural integration in Latin America and the Greater Caribbean.
