The family company, founded in 1961, employs more than 11,000 people. Celebrating 25 years of incredible progress and growth of EGGER Wismar (Germany)! 🥳 Today, 25 years ago, our first MDF board was made in our Wismar plant. Since 1999, the plant has developed impressively. The 900,000 m² site now employs around 1,000 people who manufacture chipboard in all densities as well as OSB boards, flooring and the brand new EcoBox.
