A Fountain Powered by the Sun – Innovation Meets Elegance With our partners Fronius and Pauat Architekten, we took solar innovation to a whole new level by designing a one-of-a-kind solar-powered fountain! This isn’t your typical photovoltaic project! By integrating a semi-transparent solar module (VSG 8/10 | 2.113 x 4.828 meters with perforated cells), this fountain now has a dual function: it's a beautiful centerpiece and a source of clean energy. Why it’s Unique: - First of its kind: Who says photovoltaics are just for rooftops? This installation shows that even a fountain can harness the sun. - Architectural Innovation: A fusion of water, sunlight, and energy-generating glass, proving that sustainability can be strikingly beautiful. - Sustainable Artistry: With every sunlight reflection and water ripple, this fountain becomes a statement of Fronius and Ertex Solar's commitment to the environment. #ertexsolar #solarfountain #greeninnovation #solar #photovoltaics
Info

New production line at Ertex Solar! We are pleased to give you an exciting insight into our latest developments. Our new production line is taking shape and we have reached an important milestone: the successful testing and acceptance of our new laminator on site in Italy. The laminator, the centrepiece of the new line, will make our production processes even more efficient and environmentally friendly. But transporting it will be a real challenge: with a width of 4.4 metres, special permits and night-time driving will be required to get the laminator safely to its destination! During the transport preparations, work is also in full swing in our hall. The laminator will soon be in action - another step on our way to combining innovation and sustainability in building technology. #ertexsolar #production #new #innovation #sustainable

Solar Power at Schönbrunn Zoo! 🦒 In the giraffes’ conservatory at Schönbrunn Zoo, 245 of our insulating glass modules are doing more than just providing shade—the total construct is generating 20,000 kWh of electricity per year! These specially designed panels mimic the shadow of an umbrella acacia, making the giraffes feel right at home. By producing clean energy, we’re helping the zoo save 8,287 kg of CO2 annually. All the energy produced is used 100% for zoo operations, making this project a perfect blend of nature, sustainability, and design. - Power: 20 kWp - CO2 Savings: 8,287 kg/year - Architect: Peter Hartmann And let’s not forget the house's residents, Schönbrunns giraffes, who are enjoying their energy-efficient home. 📸 © ertex solar and © Tiergarten Schönbrunn_Norbert Potensky #ErtexSolar #SolarEnergy #RenewableEnergy
