📢 And the #BACUS 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award goes to… …our Co-Founder and Senior Advisor Hans Loeschner for his contributions toward the development of the IMS electron #multibeam mask-writer (MBMW) technology. 🎉 🎉 The IMS technology is key to the advancements of the #semiconductor industry, in particular for #highNA #EUV lithography. Hans also laid the foundation for our own history, which started in 1985, when he was co-founder of IMS - Ionen Mikrofabrikations Systeme, and of IMS Nanofabrication in 2001. In the course of his career, Hans has contributed to more than 20 patents and is co-author of more than 200 publications. This award is a true testament to his pioneering spirit and unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of our industry. Congrats, Hans! We’re thrilled to be back at #BACUS, the SPIE Photomask Technology & #EUV Lithography conference! 🌟 Once again, the event is brimming with innovations, such as the first prototypes of the groundbreaking 6x12” masks. In a workshop for #highNA applications organized by Frank E. Abboud from #Intel, our colleague Dr. Mathias Tomandl explained how #wewritethefuture at IMS and enable the patterning of such masks by continuously pushing the boundaries of our industry. Dr. Peter Fiala also showcased the range of our cutting-edge #multibeam mask writers, which cover the entire spectrum of #maskwriting needs and set the standard for Ångström era precision. Our trailblazing advancements are essential for sustaining the pace of #semiconductor scaling and complexity and pave the way for next-generation devices. With a joint conference paper, #TSMC shared exciting insights into our collaboration and showed how our technology contributes to improving the performance and efficiency of 3nm node manufacturing. That’s why we prioritize and invest in leadership and the development of our people leaders at @IMS. One of our leadership initiatives is our Leadership Get Together.
