Walk For Freedom 2024 wouldn’t be possible without the incredible dedication of our hosts and volunteers who invest their time and effort into planning, preparing, and bringing the message of hope and freedom to life in their communities.⁠ ⁠ Thank you for every visible and behind-the-scenes effort that made this day happen. Your commitment has paved the way for hundreds of thousands of people to be awakened to the reality of human trafficking and the fight for freedom.

We are incredibly grateful to The Freedom Hub, Sally Irwin and Adrian Feben for partnering with us on our 10th Anniversary Walk For Freedom this past Saturday, where over a hundred people walked through Circular Quay to raise awareness and take a stand against human trafficking. The Freedom Hub's Survivor School provides crucial long-term aftercare and support for survivors of modern slavery, making a tangible difference. We are grateful for their partnership in our united mission to end modern slavery.

And that concludes Walk for Freedom 2024! Thank you to everyone who participated, as it was a major success with more than 100 people walking in solidarity to abolish slavery. About 41,000 people are living in modern slavery in Australia. It is with events like these where we are able to engage with the Australian public not only to educate them on what’s going on in Australia — but also help them act on any suspicious activity they may see from a family member, a friend, a classmate, a colleague or even a stranger.
