When we send out CCReW newsletters, we work very hard to share updates that support the community interested and engaged in research with opportunities to do something, and information to upskill their knowledge. And there's a smattering of information fellow professionals uplifting patient engagement in research in particular might find of interest. In the ansence of other feedback, the only way we really know if this information might be hitting the mark are the almost zero unsubscribe rates and pleasing open rates. If you'd like the inside track on all the clinical trials looking for participants, learning and involvement opportunities for research, and the latest on what we are doing for CCReW (the people seeking, taking part in and partnering in research), perhaps you will join the subscribers already receiving these updates. https://lnkd.in/g_A-2z76 PS, if you have a research engagement, participation or involvement opportunity to share, just drop us a line. If its suitable, we'll usually share it once for free because we are all about democratising access to these opportunities for the broader community! #CCReW #research #oppotunities #clinicaltrials #patientengagement #consumerinvolvement #Australia #CCI #PPI #clinicalresearch #awareness

Are you a member of the general public that have heard of clinical trials, but don't really know what they are, what they are for, and why you would care about them? Then we invite you to come along to our free information session about clinical trials. It's not a sales pitch (we don't run trials). It's just an opportunity to understand a little more and ask questions in a safe space (as numbers are limited and we don't record these sessions). And if English is not your preferred language, we'll be using a tool that means you can read or listen to the session in real time in one of up to 60 languages, and ask questions in those languages (so long as you let us know at the time what language that is). So I hope you will come along, or share this with someone that you think might have questions or misinformation about clinical trials. Register online for the session on Fri 8 Nov, 12-1pm AEDT (Sydney time) here: https://lnkd.in/g9MZUCXT #awareness #understanding #outreach #education #clinicaltrials #clinicalresearch #CCReW

We are delighted to announce the next 2 recipients of CCReW conference travel scholarships. Congratulations to Saran Chamberlain and Michael Elwan. Saran has an interest as a consumer in stroke, and will be travelling from Adelaide to attend the Australian Clinical Trials Alliance conference in Melbourne. Michael has a consumer interest in mental health, and will be travelling from Perth to attend the Manna Institute symposium in Sydney. We look forward to hearing about their learnings, and are grateful to be able to support their upskilling and networking as consumers involved in research. Congratulations again, and what a great way to end the week! #PtInclusiveConf #HealthConsumer #PatientVoices #PatientEngagement #ConsumerInvolvement #Research #Clinicaltrials #PatientsIncluded #ScientificConferences #PPI #CCI #CCReW

We are at the halfway point of our October #ThankATrialParticipant campaign. So we thought we'd take the opportunity to thank one of the trial participants we were requested to gift an #OrigamiSunflower to. Jack is a young man living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy who participated in a clinical trial, with the dedicated support of his parents. https://lnkd.in/gu4zqpFW So who have you thanked this month for their trial participation? And how did you do it? There's still time to request we gift someone you know an #OrigamiSunflower. See the above link for more details #clinicaltrials #clinicalresearch #gratitude #trialparticipant #thank #CCReW

Today we launch our second annual Origami 4 Clinical Trials Campaign #O4CT, which is all about showing gratitude to clinical trial participants for their selflessness and commitment to not only changing their health outcomes, but advancing healthcare for all. We hope you will get on board to #ThankATrialParticipant, hopefully with an #OrigamiSunflower. Whatever way you choose to do it, we'd love you to tag us and let us know about the healthcare heroes in your world making a difference through their participation in clinical trials.
