Last week, we were thrilled to host our very first Footy Food Tour, giving guests an exclusive taste of our brand-new food and beverage offerings ahead of the 2025 AFL season! This year, we’re all about bringing fans more value and variety, and we’re excited to introduce SA Brands for SA Fans. This initiative features local favourites Vili's Family Bakery pies, pasties and sausage rolls, Nippy's Fruit Juices Pty Ltd flavoured juices and Fleurieu Milk Company flavoured milks for only $5.00 each. On Monday, we took an important step forward on our reconciliation journey with the launch of Adelaide Oval’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Adelaide Oval has long been a place that brings people together, but its history extends far beyond the stadium itself - stretching back tens of thousands of years. Recognising and respecting this history is central to our RAP vision, ensuring Adelaide Oval is a place of inclusion, respect, and meaningful engagement with First Nations communities. We were honoured to have Uncle Michael OBrien deliver a heartfelt Welcome to Country, grounding us in the deep and enduring history of this land. A sincere thank you to Reconciliation SA CEO Jason Downs, AOSMA CEO Nick Addison, the entire AOSMA RAP Working Group and Chairperson Mieke Sellers for their dedication and commitment on this journey over the last 12 months. A special acknowledgment to Pat Caruso(DBVC), Eastern Arrernte artist and founder of We Create Print Deliver, for the stunning artwork that visually represents our commitment to reconciliation. Adelaide Oval has been recognised as a Skilled Workplace through Mental Health First Aid Australia!   We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. This recognition reflects our commitment to fostering a workplace where our team is educated, empowered, and equipped to support one another.    60+ team members have undergone our Mental Health First Aid Training. They now have the knowledge and confidence to identify, understand, and assist colleagues, visitors, and the broader community who may be experiencing mental health challenges.    This recognition is testament to our ongoing commitment to prioritising mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.

Adelaide Oval has unveiled its new, state-of-the-art Guest Services area, making the stadium more accessible and inclusive than ever before! As part of the upgrades, guests can now enjoy a dedicated Sensory Space, a Changing Places bathroom facility and a Multi-Faith Room with foot washing facilities. The $500,000 construction project reflects Adelaide Oval’s ongoing commitment to enhancing accessibility and inclusivity across the venue and has been supported by a number of State Government grants. A sincere thank you to the Department of Human Services SA for funding the Changing Places facility and to the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Government of South Australia for supporting specialised Hidden Disabilities Sunflower - Australia & New Zealand training and equipment for the sensory space via an Autism Works grant. An expert project team was employed to complete construction, including Metron Design, Mott MacDonald and Cox Architecture, with sensory space fitout by Link Assistive and guidance from Novita and those with lived experience, notably the Shipway family. You can find the Guest Services area located just inside the East Gate which is now open to all guests and will be in use for the NRMA Insurance Men’s Day-Night Test Match starting this Friday.   Read more: https://lnkd.in/gtr7JHyT

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Melbourne Cup at Adelaide Oval, presented by Australian Motors! 🏆 Your presence helped create a spectacular event, filled with excitement, fashion, and generosity. Together, we raised over $84,000 for the HAS Foundation and the Sammy D Foundation. These funds will make a meaningful impact by supporting families in crisis and promoting youth leadership and respect across our community. From the thrilling race to the live music and gourmet dining it was a day to remember. We couldn’t have done it without you—thank you for making a difference!
