The battle to protect the Great Artesian Basin (GAB) has been our most consequential campaign over the past 25 years. We are proud to say that due to our relentless advocacy, mining giant Glencore's proposal will no longer be moving forward! 🙌🏽 Thanks also to all who supported this campaign – it was our collective efforts which saw this result 🫶 However, this campaign has highlighted greater concerns including: 💧Food and water security 💧The GAB not protected adequately 💧The instability of the Federal Environment Protection and Biodiversity Act We will continue to fight for the protection of the GAB and will not rest until important legislative reform is achieved!
