Last week, we launched the Queensland Women in Agriculture Leadership (QWAL) Program in line with International Women's Day!   👏 Congratulations to the 15 successful women across Queensland who secured a place in the program! With so many strong applications, it was no easy task narrowing it down. Being selected is a tremendous achievement in itself, and we can’t wait to see what this group accomplishes over the next 12 months.   🙌 A huge shout-out to our mentors who have stepped up to support, challenge and guide these future leaders—despite their already full plates. Our mentors are scattered across the country, from regional NSW to rural SA and Tasmania, proving once again that rural people back each other!   💡 A great mentor isn’t just someone who gives advice. They push your thinking, share their hard-earned wisdom, and remind you that you’re capable of more. AgForce Training will support the School to Industry Partnership Program (SIPP) and our passionate agricultural educators with our Farm Essentials skills and safe farm training. We will also discuss our upcoming Queensland-wide Carbon Farming Outreach Program.

AgCarE.org.AU integrates key frameworks crucial for a comprehensive property-level system of identifying and quantifying Natural Capital assets. These frameworks include: 1. The Taskforce for Nature Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and 2. The International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Foundation Within the IFRS framework, there is oversight from the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the newly established International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). AgCarE.org.AU consolidates this information to offer landholders a detailed snapshot of their Natural Capital Assets at the property level. This tool empowers landholders to effectively manage, leverage and capitalize on their assets over time.
