As we closed out IMARC 2024, we had some future STEM students stop by and check out DRIFTEX! The Nextgen Juniors are part of AREEA’s Bright Future STEM program, which showcases the diversity of STEM career opportunities within the resources and energy industry. After participating in the interactive STEM Activity Zone and listening to some of the bright minds present at IMARC, they hit the exhibition hall to check out what products and innovations were on display. Once DRIFTEX had passed their thorough inspection, the students continued to ensure that all the other IMARC exhibitors were up to scratch! As mining accelerates the adoption of battery technology and DC-powered machinery, addressing electrical safety is essential for a secure transition. ⭐💡 Celebrating 20 Years of ResTech 💡⭐ For undergraduate engineers at the University of Newcastle, the Final Year Project allows them to gain experience in their field while working on challenging research projects with industry. Over the course of two semesters, ResTech provides undergrad engineers with hands on experience under the guidance of both an academic and industry supervisor.
