Anson 100% owned USA subsidiary, A1 Lithium Inc (A1) and KOCH Engineering Solutions (KTS) has successfully commissioned the Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) pilot unit at the Company's Green River Lithium Project in Utah, USA. Lithium eluate produced from using this technology can be seen going into a tote for storage and analysis. The Koch pilot unit will be operated by KTS for several months, after reaching a "steady state", to produce a large volume of lithium eluate for downstream processing into EV battery grade lithium carbonate. The data generated will be used in the design of a detailed flowsheet and equipment specification.https://https://lnkd.in/dyGK359m

Anson Resources have taken delivery of the Koch Technology Services (KTS), Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) pilot unit at its Green River, Utah site. This technology is to be used for metallurgical test work on the extracted lithium from the brine produced by the Bosydaba#1 well located within a few hundred meters. This unit is now located next to the existing Sample Demonstration Plant (SDP), on our privately owned ground at Green River. The SDP has both DLE and downstream purification capabilities and its infrastructure will be shared by the KTS pilot unit. The SDP and Koch DLE process results will be compared to determine the most suitable process to be used in a full commercial operation. Koch is the second largest private company in the USA, with over 120,000 employees in 60 countries. KTS has announced that it has built the first commercial sized DLE extraction column in the USA applying the same technology incorporated into the pilot design. The unveiling of the Koch pilot plant was witnessed by a group of 25 professionals comprised of potential partners, representative of USA OEM's, battery manufacturers, the financial community, DLE and downstream technology providers as well as our employees.
