Hole NB24-024: 19.73 m at 9.40% Zn, 1.07% Pb, and 49.7 g/t Ag (15 m true width), including 10.79 m at 13.39% Zn, 1.30% Pb, and 70.0 g/t Ag. We are excited to announce the discovery of extensive mineralization at the new Popcorn target within the Macpass Project. Near-surface zinc and silver mineralization encountered is similar to the vein and breccia mineralization that overprints the massive sulphide at Boundary, presenting an exciting new opportunity. Located just 600 meters from the Boundary Zone resource pit shell and open in all directions, Popcorn offers substantial exploration potential for our ongoing efforts. Fireweed is proud to collaborate with Dena Nezziddi Development Corporation and Solvest Inc to advance renewable power at the #Macpass project. This initiative reflects our dedication to supporting local procurement with Ross River Dena Council’s development company and reducing our carbon footprint through greener energy alternatives. The system consists of 70 kW of ground mounted #solar panels paired with a containerized battery storage system with 144 kWh of capacity. This will reduce the diesel fuel required on site by ~24,000 L per season while also reducing emissions and significantly reducing noise on site. Fireweed pushes the boundaries at Macpass Fireweed Metals is pleased to report that the first results from the 2024 drill program at Macpass have successfully expanded known mineralization to the west. Hole NB24-001 intersected 92.15 m of 8.61% #zinc, 2.60% #lead, and 42.7 g/t #silver, marking a 65-meter step-out. NB24-008 also intersected mineralization 160 meters west of previous drilling. We are excited to see significant progress on the proposed BC-Yukon grid connection, a key move to strengthen the energy infrastructure that supports the mining industry in the Yukon Territory. The Government of Yukon is moving forward with pre-feasibility studies for a 765-kilometre high-voltage transmission line to connect the Yukon grid to the North American power grid through B.C. These studies will be supported by up to $40 million in conditional funding from Natural Resources Canada’s Critical Minerals Infrastructure Fund Program (“CMIF”), pending final due diligence. Enhanced energy infrastructure in the Territory creates opportunities for Fireweed’s projects in the Macpass District: improved project economics, reduced GHGs, and better overall environmental performance.
