Located on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri People, Cremorne Place is a new commercial development in the high-density urban precinct of Cremorne. Arcadia’s landscape seeks to create an activated public realm offering to Cremorne Street, that will improve the amenity and pedestrian experience through activation of the streetscape interface with inviting retail and outdoor dining. With expansive landscaped terraces on every level, the project sets a new benchmark for integrating nature into workers’ daily experiences. Congratulations to everyone who is working on this project! Very excited to share that Wadanggari Park has won GOLD in the 2025 Australian Design BETTER FUTURE Awards and is now in the running for a BETTER FUTURE World Design Award for Landscape Design! With a narrative based on the resilience of the Wadanggari (banksia), Wadangarri Park is the only park in Australia built over a railway line. Using innovative thinking about space to deliver green open space in a dense urban environment, the park extends the green corridors of bushland which connect the CBD of St Leonards with Sydney Harbour. Newcastle Update: Off the back of the approval of 12 Steel Street, Arcadia is excited to announce the SSD Approval of Trinity Point, designed in collaboration with Koichi Takada. Arcadia’s landscape concept design for the master planned community, to be set on 23 hectares of premium waterfront land in Lake Macquarie, was enhanced by the local knowledge and passion of our Newcastle-based team. The landscape will complement the architectural design of the six apartment buildings, creating a destination with waterfront activities, high-end restaurants, luxury five-star hotel, and a vibrant retail and dining precinct. Celebrating the connection to place and Country, the landscape has been designed to frame views of the Watagan ranges to the west of Lake Macquarie. Congratulations to everyone who is working on this project! Arcadia’s Canberra studio had the privilege of working with a broad array of minds and architectural styles on this tender design. Well done to Stewart Architecture for leading the way, and thanks again to Art Group for the opportunity to contribute. We are looking forward to the development of this key site in the heart of Canberra. Congratulations to the winning team.
Our scheme for the City Hill Precinct in Canberra - a compact and lively community in the city’s centre. We had the great pleasure of working with clients Art Group and a collaborative team including Tzannes, BREATHE ARCHITECTURE LIMITED, Yerrabingin Pty Ltd, Arcadia Landscape Architecture, Finding Infinity and Neuron (just to name a few) on our design led development bid for the site. City Hill Precinct aims to manifest the Griffins’ vision for a city heart filled with people and everyday life, connected to Country. Our plan, developed in 2024, includes six unique buildings arranged around a central public space. The six buildings frame the surrounding streets, maximise a walkable street experience and enable permeability of the site from all sides. City Hill Precinct is an important puzzle piece in the story of Canberra’s inner city and must support and enhance street life in every way possible. Congratulations to the Capital Property Group (Canberra Airport), Bates Smart and their team who were the successful team. Renders by Narrative Graphics.

Arcadia worked in collaboration with Architectus to design Array at One Eden Park Drive in Macquarie Park, a commercial building which has 5.5 Star NABERS and 5 Star Green Star ratings. Drawing character from surrounding Endangered Ecological Communities, the landscape and open spaces enhance the character of Array as an innovation hub within the Macquarie Park commercial zone. Maintaining the existing Eucalypt street frontage and nestling the landscape within the existing fabric, collaborative and outdoor workspaces have been designed with contemporary workplace design principles, acknowledging that access to well-designed outdoor spaces increases staff happiness, productivity, health, and creativity. Congratulations to everyone who is worked on this project! Client: Kador Key Collaborators: Architectus Indigenous Nation: Wallumedegal/Darug
