https://lnkd.in/g9rajveB The financial services industry has been through significant education reform as key requirements to maintain one's status as an Authorised Representative. However, there is a trend emerging with those who did not take this path, offering aged care advice without a current authorised representative status. Whilst their business title has removed the word "Financial" from their title of Planner or Adviser to technically comply with legislation, the average consumer won't know the difference, which leaves this business strategy wide open to the risk of rogue operators taking full advantage of a vulnerable community. Aged care providers recommending aged care specialists should check their referral partners on the Moneysmart website. #financialservices #vulnerablepopulations #agedcareaustralia #standardsmatter
