What's your reaction when you hear a racist comment in sport? Pause the game ⛔ If someone is injured... we pause the game ⛔ If someone engages in a physical reportable offense... we pause the game ⛔ If an incident of racism occurs... we also need to pause the game ⛔ Through our partnership with Reflect Forward, the "Dealing with the moment: Anti-racism in community sport" course helps coaches, umpires, participants and volunteers deal with incidents of racism in the moment they occur. It also provides tips for clubs about how to create a safe environment for participants and to continue to support victims of racism on an ongoing basis. Reflect Foward https://lnkd.in/g9mYth-w

Zahra Ahmadi shares how sport helped her gain confidence, improve her English, and build friendships. For those with culturally diverse backgrounds, the barriers to participation are especially challenging with the fight for inclusivity and recognition an ongoing effort. To promote more inclusive sport practices in our community, we have developed a Multicultural Engagement Playbook ⏬ https://lnkd.in/gzVa28wQ #IWD2025 #WomenInSport
