Repost from KPCA instagram The dedicated Kimberly Pilbara Cattlemen's Association team hit the ground running last week, with back-to-back workshops and events across the region. Biosecurity Officer Chris Morrow, in collaboration with Ausvet's own Isabel MacPhillamy and Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development delivered an insightful twilight session, setting the stage for important industry discussions. The Meat & Livestock Australia #BeefUp Forum focused on research and development, providing producers with valuable insights into innovation and best practices in the northern beef industry. With the first Nb2 group meeting ticked off, businesses look to gain momentum in driving greater sustainable practices and strengthening their herd. Meanwhile, participants of the Warrmijala Murrgurlayi (Rise Up to Work) Agriculture Program showcased their skills in the yards, highlighting emerging talent and leadership. A huge congratulations to Roebuck Export Depot for hosting their very first Open Day! Organised by Nyamba Buru Yawuru, the event was a great success, capped off with a fantastic Gala Dinner. The KPCA team will be on the road and travelling across the state and country throughout March—so keep an eye out and be sure to say G’day.

#Veterinarians are doing more than just taking care of your #pets. The global veterinary workforce comprises 19 million dedicated professionals, with an average of one veterinary worker for every 2,611 cattle. Despite their critical role in safeguarding animal and public health, many WOAH member countries report that their veterinary services lack sufficient resources. Empowering veterinarian professionals is essential for ensuring the health of animals and humans alike.
