About us
The Basil Hetzel Institute for Translational Health Research is the productive research arm of The Queen Elizabeth Hospital with links to the three South Australian Universities. Current research focuses on the major health issues facing South Australians today; cardiovascular health, chronic infection, healthy ageing and cancer. Our research is translational in nature, with strong links to clinical practice, resulting in better heath outcomes for our patients.
