Learn more about the geology of Sorby Hills:- https://lnkd.in/gAqi-C_j Boab Metals Limited (ASX:BML) is currently developing its 75% owned Sorby Hills Lead-Silver Project which is 50km north east of Kununurra in the East Kimberley of Western Australia. Sorby Hills is Australia’s largest undeveloped, near surface lead-silver deposit with granted mining leases, EPA approval and is 150km from the #WyndhamPort. In parallel with its Sorby Hills development, Boab is also exploring it’s #Manbarrum (100% owned) and #EightMileCreek (100% owned) prospects. In 2024 Boab Metals has focussed on Sorby Hills and specifically activities aimed at bringing about a Final Investment Decision. Since completing the DFS in 2023 the Boab team has focused on delivering the Sorby Hills Front-End Engineering and Design (“FEED”) Study and this was achieved in June 2024. Key highlights of the FEED study Base Case included: ·    upfront Capital Expenditure of A$264M; ·    average C1 Cost of US$ 0.36/lb payable Lead (including silver credits); ·    pre-tax NPV8 of A$411M, pre-tax IRR of 37%; and ·    average annual EBITDA of A$126M. The Phase VII drilling program at Sorby Hills in late 2023 delivered an exciting intersection of mineralisation in the first and only hole drilled at the Keep Seismic Target located 2km south of the existing reserves at Sorby Hills.  We are currently following up this result with an additional four drill holes being drilled as part of our ongoing Phase VIII drill program. If successful, drill results could open up new areas within the existing mining tenement for a potential additional economic deposit.  Boab Metals continues to work towards expanding its resource base. With respect to progress toward a Final Investment Decision, negotiation with shortlisted Offtakers for the Sorby Hills concentrate continues to advance with an agreement expected to be reached within the current quarter. #BoabMetals today announced the continuation of exploration activities at its Sorby Hills Lead-Silver-Zinc Project with the commencement of the Phase VIII drilling program. The work program will primarily target the Keep Seismic Target located approximately 2km south of the existing Sorby Hills reserves. The initial program includes up to 1,600m across 4 drill holes. #BoabMetals has announced the results of its Front-End Engineering & Design (FEED) Study for its 75% owned Sorby Hills Lead-Silver-Zinc Project in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. The FEED Study augments and enhances the Sorby Hills Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) released in January, 2023. Key Highlights:- ·      Project updates (excluding any change in macroeconomic assumptions have delivered an increase of +A$73M Net Cash Flow and +A$41M NPV8 compared to the DFS. ·      Key Base Case Project Metrics include upfront Capital Expenditure of A$264M, average C1 Cost of US$ 0.36/lb payable Lead (including silver credits), pre-tax NPV8 of A$411M, pre-tax IRR of 37%, and average annual EBITDA of A$126M. ·      Importantly, the net change to pre-production Capital Expenditure is limited and project pre-tax cash flows over the initial 5 years of production have improved by +A$150M providing a stronger profile to support debt financing. ·      Assuming current spot pricing for Lead, Silver, Exchange Rate and current Benchmark Lead Treatment and Silver Refining Charges results in an NPV8 of A$596M, pre-tax IRR of 47% and average annual EBITDA of A$160M. Key Project Updates include:- ·      Updated post FEED pricing for the Process Plant EPC Contract provided by @GREngineeringServices (“GRES”). ·      Updated mining schedule bringing forward mining of the high-grade #NortonDeposit. ·      Updated metal recovery and concentrate grades for the Norton Deposit based on new metallurgical testwork on core recovered during the Phase VII drilling program. ·      Updated pricing for the Mining and Earthworks Contracts provided on a bundled basis and based on the optimised site layout and mining schedule. ·      Updated tailings strategy with above-ground tailings disposal being employed for the Life of Mine as opposed to in-pit deposition previously adopted in the #DFS. And That’s a Wrap!! - Recapping the 2024 Boab Metals Ord Valley Muster The 2024 #BoabMetalsOrdValleyMuster once again attracted a large crowd to Kununurra and the East Kimberley. The event was packed with 9 days (and nights) of culture, art, music, food, festival events, tours and experiences. Boab Metals Chairman, Gary Comb welcomed everyone and delivered an update on Boab Metals #SorbyHillsProject. Once again, the overwhelming support for Boab Metals in the Kununurra community was clear to see and is greatly appreciated. The highlight of the Muster was of course the Kimberley Moon Experience that included the Mirima Dancers and the stunning Kimberley Fine Diamonds Dinner. Celebrities, politicians and local personalities were in attendance. In the crowd were WA Attorney General John Quigley, Durack MP Melissa Price, Regional Development Minister Don Punch, Innovation Minister Stephen Dawson and Divina D’Anna MLA Member for Kimberley. Entertainment included The Screaming Jets, Rogue Traders, Sarah McLeod and Bob Evans. The festival also included Muster Idol, Art in the Park, showcasing the artistic community in the Kimberley, Storytelling Night by local Miriwoong people, sharing personal experiences and passing on old traditions, Corroboree Under the Stars, Horizon Power Party in the Park which features the Boab Metals #SorbySilverSearch where participants dig for prizes including a #silver necklace and a silver bracelet. The Muster concluded with the ever-popular Frontier Helicopters Rodeo attracting a big crowd to watch local and interstate cowboys and cowgirls in action. #BoabMetals today announced interim results of additional metallurgical testwork at its 75% owned Sorby Hills Lead-Silver-Zinc Project. The encouraging results of the testwork delivered a 5% increase in #Norton lead recovery from 78% to 83% with an improvement in concentrate grade from 56.9% to 59.9%Pb. These results will be incorporated in the current FEED Study.
