Bridgeman provides mentoring and career pathways to our youth crime offenders and past offenders through our Bridgeman Past Offenders Program. Managing Director, Adam Sarota, regularly conducts mentoring sessions in Youth Detention Centres across Queensland.
Recently I visited Brisbane Youth Detention Centre in Wacol as part of our Bridgeman Past Offenders Program, which provides opportunities and pathways into the construction and manufacturing industry during and post incarceration. The Bridgeman team have been working hard on a large fabrication project for Smith & Loveless Parks Ave. The fabrication consists of a two-piece galvanised frame skid with stainless steel piping and components fitted, there is a range of valves, pumps and tanks for the assembly with some electrical work. Assembly involved a crane lifting the two pieces and being shipped to site for final assembly and install. Both the mild steel skid and stainless-steel components were fabricated in house at Bridgeman.
