We were proud to recently attend the A Moment of Safety Expo hosted by Townsville City Council for National Safe Work Month! 🙌 Our very own Specifications Manager, Leanne Garvey, joined forces with the team at Sherriff Electrical Wholesalers in Townsville, to showcase the importance of safety in the workplace. With over 1300 Townsville City Council staff members attending throughout the event, it was a fantastic opportunity to engage with the community and promote safer work environments. Last week, our team joined Facility Management Association of Australia (FMA) on their professional development session on Fire Safety Compliance in Sydney, sponsored by Beaver Williams Pty Ltd. It was a fantastic event to network with our industry peers and deepen our understanding of the NSW Building Bill reforms, which will simplify and consolidate fire safety regulations. These changes are key to modernising our industry and ensuring laws are easier to understand for both customers and practitioners. Thanks to Michael Marks, Policy Manager - NSW Building Commission, Rob Broadhead from 2020 Fire Protection and Gaurav Bhalla from First 5 Minutes Pty Ltd for the enriching information and panel discussion.
