The BUSY Group is proud to announce that our BUSY Sisters program has partnered with TradesWomen Australia and is featured in their inaugural publication! This valuable resource celebrates the inspiring stories, challenges, and triumphs of women who are breaking barriers in the trades industry. With women representing just 3% of the workforce in male-dominated trades, we’re excited to see that percentage grow, with a recent report from the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations showing an 80% increase in women entering trade apprenticeships. This shift is essential not only for diversity and equality but also to address Australia’s growing skills shortages. Through our BUSY Sisters program, part of The BUSY Group, we empower women in trades by providing mentorship, a supportive community, and the resources needed to excel and thrive in the industry. Together, we can help break down barriers and build stronger, more inclusive workplaces. ✨ Read more 👉 https://lnkd.in/gZMWN3JF ARK Media #WomenInTrades #EmpoweringWomen #TradesWomenAustralia #BUSYSisters #BUSYAtWork

At BUSY At Work, we are leading the way in supporting, mentoring and retaining women in trades. But real change happens when we have strong allies. Across the country, industry leaders, decision-makers and influencers stand with us, backing the movement for greater female participation in male-dominated industries. Their leadership has paved the way, and together, we’re ensuring that women in trades are not just entering the workforce but thriving in it. "As BUSY At Work's Women in Trades Manager, my focus is on mentoring, retention and long-term success. Because when we invest in women, we strengthen industries, workplaces and futures. Change isn’t just coming; it’s happening, and we’re leading it!" - Tenille Riley - Women in Trades Manager. Happy International Women’s Day!

✨ How do I even begin to wrap up the 2024 year?! ✨ I am sure there are a lot of you out there who can relate. I feel like this year has disappeared in the blink of an eye, in a whirlwind of excitement and hard work. It certainly has been both an exciting and challenging year for the entire BUSY At Work - The Apprenticeship Community team and I am so proud of the hard work, determination and passion that each and every one of our team have shown over this time. All that hard work resulted in some truly fantastic achievements throughout the year, including successfully securing & implementing our new contracts across the country. What a team we have, I am blessed to quite honestly say that I work alongside some incredible minds, and there are many of them, starting with our brilliant CoAct strategic leadership team headed up by Simon Brown, our colleagues over BUSY At Work, Cassandra Horan, Kyle Brault, Sharon Hollis, Amber Agar and of course each of our awesome Apprentice Connect Provider teams nationally. I cannot wait to see what we all achieve together next year. A special shout out to Amanda Marwick, Kym Tierney and Jayde Thomas, my leadership team, I have watched you work so tirelessly for the success of your teams in Victoria and Perth. There are definitely days that I could not function without each of you, I am so grateful for all that you do. I wish every one of my connections here on LinkedIn, a safe festive season and I look forward to working with you in 2025! 🎄 Seaneade ArmourAdam Burnitt Melanie Howell Shae Carol Noble Melissa Gleeson Sarah Emms Devina Balendran Monique Fenner Nyssa de Waard Michael Willett Christie Angus Kelli L.
