This valuable resource celebrates the inspiring stories, challenges, and triumphs of women who are breaking barriers in the trades industry. With women representing just 3% of the workforce in male-dominated trades, we’re excited to see that percentage grow, with a recent report from the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations showing an 80% increase in women entering trade apprenticeships. This shift is essential not only for diversity and equality but also to address Australia’s growing skills shortages. Through our BUSY Sisters program, part of The BUSY Group, we empower women in trades by providing mentorship, a supportive community, and the resources needed to excel and thrive in the industry.
