We understand the pressures, lack of resources and time constraints. Whether you're working with a child who has a diagnosed intellectual disability, neurodiversity, is undergoing an assessment, or is experiencing complex developmental trauma, there are key areas you can focus on to build your own support system. These strategies will help you gain confidence in supporting children with additional needs and embedding inclusive practices into your services. 👀 Read more tips here and join our workshop on “Supporting children with additional needs” on 27 September for $100 only! https://lnkd.in/gT4WUagw 🎫 Get tickets and Use code "Workshop$99Off": https://lnkd.in/gT4WUagw

💛 This R U OK? Day, we’re focusing on how we can better support each other by understanding our different communication styles. To help open up these important conversations, #TeamChildAustralia Head Office shared how we each prefer to be asked “R U OK?”—whether it’s a quiet chat, a text or a check-in over coffee. Child Australia Nightcliff Campus also enjoyed positive conversations and explored mental health resources over morning tea. 🌻 It’s a reminder that everyone communicates differently, and by adapting our approach, we can help our colleagues feel more comfortable and supported, creating a positive space for our team and the children we support. 💬 CEO Tina Holtom reminds us: "The way we all process life challenges are as unique as our fingerprints....but listening, really listening...is the most powerful gift we can offer someone.” Explore this conversation guide to build your confidence in asking R U OK? https://lnkd.in/gCefieEU
