While the severity of ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred has been downgraded, we’re still expecting heavy rainfall, strong wind gusts, and the potential for flash flooding. 🌧️ ⚠️ We're mobilising our crews to get our operations back up and running. Only go outside if it’s safe to do so. Drive to the conditions. Always remember - If it’s flooded, forget it! 🚫 Waste facilities will be closed until tomorrow. Stay up to date with our Disaster Dashboard 👉https://lnkd.in/gnHwVNxu and check Bureau of Meteorology for any updates to the weather.

Our sandbag stations have been replenished this morning. Deliveries to all sandbag stations will finish at 12pm today due to safety concerns and service closures. Remember to take only what you need, help your friends out and please remain calm. Sandbags can reduce the amount of water entering your home and help block your drains from storm surges. Thank you for staying prepared and keeping our community safe! 💪🌧️ To find your nearest sandbag station, visit our Disaster Dashboard 👉 https://lnkd.in/gnHwVNxu
