Career opportunity - Human Resource Advisor This is an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources professional to join our organisation in a position that works across all departments to align human resources strategies with overarching Council Objectives. Reporting to the Manager, Chief Executive’s Office and working alongside the Senior Human Resource Advisor, the Human Resource Advisor plays a pivotal role in shaping a positive and productive work environment. As a Human Resources Advisor, you will be responsible for providing professional advice and support across all stages of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to retention. You will work collaboratively with management and staff to ensure that human resources practices align with the organisation’s strategic goals. Key responsibilities include: • Providing expert advice on HR and industrial relations matters, including recruitment, employment conditions and performance management. • Supporting the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. • Overseeing the Return-to-Work program, providing guidance to employees and managers to support safe and effective returns. • Assisting with the development and delivery of employee engagement initiatives. • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems. • Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems. • Building strong relationships with all levels of staff to support a positive organisational culture.
