On Sunday, October 27th, Delta proudly took part in the launch of Catherine Hill Bay SLSC's new Inflatable Rescue Boat.   Delta's Acting CEO, Andrew O'Farrell, a qualified volunteer surf lifesaver, spoke to the community at the event: “It is an honour to support the local surf lifesaving community who provide an essential service through volunteers.”   The celebration also included Stuart Ambridge, our Executive for Business Improvement, who officially named the new boat with a bottle of champagne.   In a moment of pride, the Inflatable Rescue Boat was named “Hall” to honour the Hall family's 120 years of service to the club and their impact on surf lifesaving.   Delta is proud to support this important community initiative and looks forward to assisting Catho SLSC as they continue their essential lifesaving work.     #Communitysupport #locallifesaving

At Delta, our people learn and grow through hands on access to the plant. This enables them to deepen their understanding of our operations and the technology that drives our station.   As part of our current major outage, a group of our engineers, analysts, and procurement officers observed a boiler furnace inspection. It was such a unique experience that doesn’t come along very often! It is opportunities like this that help us learn, innovate and develop the future leaders of the energy industry. 💡

Meet Mariah, one of the Asset Management Specialists at our Vales Point Power Station. Throughout her studies, Mariah sought hands-on experience beyond the traditional office environment, and we're thrilled she found her path to us at Delta. 7 years ago, Mariah joined our Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering and hasn't looked back. We are proud to showcase our second-year electrical apprentice Caleb, who today took part in the regional WorldSkills competition at Wyong TAFE! 🌟 WorldSkills is a one-day event where apprentices, trainees and students put their skills and knowledge to the test against others in the industry. 🛠️   The 2024 WorldSkills competition runs nationwide from February to November with the next National Championship happening in 2025. 💪 #WorldSkillsAustralia #Energycareers #Apprenticeship
