We are excited to share a post from Sorcha Millican-Nagle, one of our fantastic panellists from the recent event at Fortress! A heartfelt thank you to all our panellists for their invaluable insights and contributions! 🙌💡 #YourWorldYourVCE #VCEVocationalMajor #VictorianSchools
Great to join a panel today exploring alternative career paths into games & media by Department of Education This prompted me to reflect on my own HSC (VCE) and completing high school. It’s a daunting experience and you feel you need to have everything sorted out. That’s far from the case — as we discussed; there’s plenty of ways to enter games and you’ll likely have a number of different careers. When it comes do deciding the right career; it’s more about “what you’re drawn too” - what’s that hobby you keep coming back to after class? As Luci, one our panelists put it. I’m excited that the new Vocational Education Major could offer a chance to branch into games and help students get a taste of what they love! 💪 Left to right: Myself Karli (a high school student!) Luci Reuben Christopher Stewart Gemma Driscoll Thanks to PlaySide Studios for allowing me to represent & M&C Saatchi Group for the smooth organisation 🙏 Hosted at Fortress
