STICK A FORK IN CLIMATE CHANGE! Online REGENERATIVE farmers market: tasty, local produce which regenerates the earth.

About us

We're on a mission to fight climate change from your fork. What do we mean by that? Well... if we told you that you can fight climate change every day, three times a day, what would you say? You'd probably say HECK YEAH but what's the catch? Well... There isn't one, you can join our journey to reduce carbon emissions right now, and, there's no fine print, nothing, nada! The answer is relatively easy - choose food produced using REGENERATIVE farming practices. We're on a journey to change the way food is farmed and consumed, so it's not only carbon-neutral but also enriches the land, supports local small farmers, and is delicious. Love sustainable products? Great! Regenerative farming goes beyond sustainable farming - not just sustaining the land, but reviving, rejuvenating and REGENERATING the land. Our farmers nourish & enrich the soil, leaving it in even better shape than before AND they’re pulling down and storing CO2 while they’re farming. It's a fundamental farming difference, we're not taking from the earth, we're NOT JUST sustaining the earth, we're REGENERATING the earth, working WITH nature, feeding the soil and ourselves, and the whole planet is better off for it. Behind every Dinner Twist meal there's a passionate community of friends (some would call suppliers) working together to get WA's best food to your family!  We might take your fresh and local food very seriously, but not ourselves!  In this new weekly series, we're excited to share our best (and worst) dad jokes, to celebrate the fantastic friendships that make it all possible! Thanks Jay A. from Dirty Clean Food for being the first WA CEO to join me for some dad jokes! #foodthatconnects #freshlaughs #supportlocal #dadjokeswithCEOs #dadjoke #dinnertwist

Big THANK YOU to everyone who supported Dirty Clean Food in our crowdfunding raise via Birchal We received commitments for over A$500,000, which will be used to grow our brand presence, products and impact. There are many familiar names on the investor list - friends, customers, supply partners and family members. It’s incredibly humbling and encouraging! #gratitude Our business is consumer-focused and predicated on the belief that people want to, and will pay a fair price to, support local family farmers in their communities who are using regenerative agriculture to improve our soils, biodiversity and water cycles. We try to make it easy to do this via a trusted brand and delivery platform, whether you are dining out or in the shops - even home delivery. I haven’t spoken much about it publically, but this has been an extremely challenging 18 months for our team, which is chokkas full of sensational people committing their all for a better food system. We are not here without the support of friends and family, and Commonland We try to take a collaborative and community-based approach to growing our business. And to receive financial support back from the community has moved us to tears with joy. THANK YOU for your support. THANK YOU for your good wishes, for your reposts, for tolerating our emails :), and for your words of advice and encouragement. I encourage everyone (investors and good wishers) to follow our story, reach out and stay in touch. It’s the someones like you, who care a whole awful lot, who make things better. #RegenWarriors

Really happy about our latest conversation with Jay A., CEO of Dirty Clean Food, about what it takes to build a successful direct-to-consumer #business in the regen space- basically buying from 👩🏻🌾 #farmers and delivering to consumer, restaurants, etc.- and in the most remote city on the planet. Despite all challenges of B2C, Jay makes a passionate case for it. 🥧 A deep dive full of golden nuggets of direct-to-consumer companies, what works and what doesn’t, but also a long conversation on the power of #transparency within businesses and the most important return of all, #inspiration. 📚 What are the lessons learned? Looking at the graveyard of direct-to-consumer companies we have seen, especially in COVID years, raising a lot of money, struggling, or shutting down. Does that mean disrupting the current 🛒 supermarket oligopolies isn’t worth it? https://lnkd.in/dtCTqrnT

Dirty Clean Food is blessed to have support from our friends at Commonland in our mission to build a food brand dedicated to advancing regenerative agriculture. Thank you Willem Ferwerda Jim Mackintosh Béla Jankovich de Jeszenice Solomon Slattery for your generous 3-year grant commitment to Dirty Clean Food to accelerate the implementation of 4 Returns in Western Australia. At Dirty Clean Food, we fully embrace Commonland’s 4 Returns’ (Natural, Social, Financial and Inspirational value creation) framework as a holistic approach to long-term landscape restoration in Western Australia. Dirty Clean Food plays an important role supporting the regeneration of Western Australia’s soils and ecosystems. We build demand for regen ag through communications, marketing, and education. We provide fair offtakes so family farms have the confidence to #switchtoregen. And our platform ensures it is easy for the growing group of #RegenWarriors to identify and purchase regeneratively farmed produce when they shop or dine out. For more on our vision for Dirty Clean Food, check out my recent chat with Commonland Founder Willem Ferwerda in Bridgetown, Western Australia: https://lnkd.in/gbbJGMWE Dirty Clean Food is currently raising growth funding through Birchal, an Australia-based crowd-funding platform (to learn more, visit https://lnkd.in/gMCXhfWY). Global friends are welcome to participate in this process. *Always consider the general CSF risk warning and offer document before investing.
