Head of Customer Experience at Easy Agile

🌅 Good morning from Wollongong, Australia! As I watch the sun rise over the ocean, I can’t help but feel excited about what's ahead for Easy Agile and our customers! 🚀 We’re taking a big step—hiring our first international, full-time team member in Vancouver, Canada! 🇨🇦 This is a huge milestone as we build our Customer Success function. Over the past 12+ months, we’ve been building the foundations for Customer Experience, expanding our Support team with Emilie Davies joining Henri Seymour, as well as introducing Customer Education & Enablement with Morgan Nugent joining the team in November last year. Now, we’re evolving further by making our Customer Success function a reality with the hire of our first Senior Customer Success Manager. If you’re a self-starter in Vancouver, passionate about shaping customer success from the ground up, and excited by the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing company—we’d love to hear from you. Lean Principles. Outcomes over Output. Family/Community/Work Balance. CEO at Easy Agile.

Easy Agile continues to grow our team. It's always exciting to welcome new folks, yet in this case it is a little scary too. Scary as we are a) starting a Customer Success team and hiring a Customer Success Manager, b) hiring our first team member on another continent which expands our definition of 'remote work', and c) incorporating in a new country which has legal implications for everything from employment agreements to ESOP. I've never visited Vancouver, yet I hear it is lovely, the people are wonderful, and we are values aligned. I'm looking forward to my first trip across. If you are a wonderful human, reckon you'd be a great fit as a Customer Success Manager on a brand new team, are happy to be on another continent from the rest of the company and like the idea of weaving some travel in to your life, then I invite you to take a gander at our job ad: https://lnkd.in/gcjYQKqA Thanks for your continued support folks, have a brilliant day!

  • Something caught our eye on Reddit recently – a community poll asking which Agile practice adds the most value to their team. Retrospectives took the lead with 40% of votes, beating out Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, and Backlog Grooming. Interesting choice. In our experience, retros are powerful when teams feel safe to be honest and committed to acting on feedback. But they can also become repetitive or turn into complaint sessions without the right approach. We're curious - what makes retrospectives work (or not work) in your team? #agile #teamdevelopment

Incredibly proud of our Staff Engineer Ryan Brown who presented to a full house at Atlassian's Atlas Camp in Brussels yesterday! From what we hear, he had the whole room captivated with his natural storytelling about observability in Forge apps. Nothing better than seeing a full house lean in and engage with one of our own. Way to go, Ryan! 👏 Thanks to everyone who came out to learn and connect. See you at the next one. #AtlasCamp #AtlassianDevelopers

We are one week away from the Atlas Camp 2025 conference, which means I am only one week away from presenting on Observability on the forge platform: https://lnkd.in/gwkCKfhd. Feeling all the emotions right now as I begin my trip to Europe for the conference, but more than anything I'm feeling incredibly fortunate to get this opportunity. Thanks to Atlassian for running the conference and huge thanks to the team Easy Agile for supporting me in achieving a long-term career goal.

  • "Mind the gap between taking action and getting feedback." That was Jon Kern, co-author of the Agile Manifesto's advice for teams today. Whether deciding on workplace policies, building features, or writing code – the key is shortening that feedback loop. Don't search for permanent solutions. Treat every decision as a hypothesis. Test it. Learn from it. Adapt quickly. "Don't be so damn sure of yourself about office or remote work," he says. "Be curious and experiment safely with different ways. Work is subsidized learning – so just try it." Watch our full conversation with Jon here: https://lnkd.in/gcA2Pvpw #AgileManifesto #AgileTeams #ContinuousLearning

  • Ever wondered why some customer interviews feel like gold mines while others fall flat? 🤔 Our CX Manager Teagan Harbridge is pulling back the curtain on how we conduct killer customer interviews at Easy Agile, and trust us - these aren't your typical tips! Here's what might surprise you: 🤝 Never interview alone We always tag-team our customer interviews! One person leads the conversation while another takes notes. Why? Because it lets the interviewer stay fully present and engaged (plus, two perspectives are always better than one!) 💡 Seek to understand, not validate We're not just checking boxes here. We dig deep to understand the 'why' behind customer needs before jumping to solutions. It's about genuine curiosity, not confirmation bias. 📣 Share those golden insights The best customer conversation means nothing if it stays in your head! We use Confluence, Slack, and our weekly All-Hands to make sure these valuable insights reach every corner of our team. #CustomerInterviews #ProductManagement #UserResearch #AgileTeams #CustomerInsights
