    Just wrapping up the conversation guide for this week's Fireside Session with Kerryn Butler-Henderson, talking about digital health capability. It's going to be a great conversation where we cover workforce, building capacity, career, digital models of care, information management, and maybe a bit of AI 😉 Here's a taste of what I'll be asking Kerryn: 1. How do we build skills and confidence across the workforce to support digital health readiness, especially for those folks who might not feel very IT savvy? 2. What sort of digital health learning opportunities are there for the folks based in country regions? 3. What can I teach myself, and what do I need to learn in a more formal way?     This morning, Emerson, of Emerson Health fame, was featured in The Guardian, discussing his experiences in the education system. As she read him the article, he told his mother, Alicia Cook, that he is so very proud of that rabbit sitting on his shoulder, Jellycat, for his first ever public appearance.     This is a very long article, but the message I hope you receive, is that inclusive education is actually good for everyone. And the federal-state governance silos across disability, education and health must to be genuinely dissolved to enable the youth of today and tomorrow to realise their fundamental human rights. The prevalence of neurodivergence is only going to increase; the current state of affairs is disasterous for our national productivity, and there is an uprising of voices chanting for change. https://lnkd.in/gxNCDVwU

    Happy Valentines Day, all. I wrote this for anyone who has ever felt a bit uncomfortable about stepping into a #leadership role. "I used to think that in order to be a leader one day the leadership fairy would rock up in sparkles and tap you on the head with a glitter-coated wand, and boom - that’s it, you’re officially a leader! The reality is, being formally acknowledged as a leader is probably one of the later stages of a leadership journey. It starts when you step up before the leadership fairy arrives, and often you are not going to be asked."
