Navigating the new world of demand gen marketing. Here’s a quick story: Since stepping into my demand gen role at @Firmable, I've been learning the ropes of the new world of marketing. So much seems to have changed in the last 18 months. Recently, I ran my second Smartlead cold email campaign. Sent out a batch of emails to a targeted ICP segment. And the results? Crazy good. 65% open rate and impressive engagement numbers. To put that into perspective, the average open rate for emails is between 17-28%. For cold outreach, those stats are gold. So what made the difference? Here’s the secret sauce: 1. Validated, accurate data (Using our own Firmable data) 2. Smartly crafted subject lines and value props (personalisation, social proof and non spammy language) Plus, our new approach is catching attention.
