These vehicles are a key part of our ongoing commitment to improving both our operational capacity and environmental sustainability. The new IVECO units are Euro 6-rated, offering enhanced fuel efficiency and significantly reduced emissions — helping us to operate more sustainably. In addition, these trucks are equipped with a suite of advanced safety features to ensure both driver safety and the security of the goods we transport. This is just the beginning! ZF’s Commercial Vehicle Solutions (CVS) division has launched a new trailer telematics solution that helps to improve uptime and performance while reducing costs for the trailer manufacturers, rental companies and fleets – connecting fleet operators to their trailers out on the road. The telematics system simplifies the digitalisation of trailer operations by providing an all-in-one solution combining its OptiTire Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), Trailer Electronic Braking Systems (including TEBS and next generation iEBS), and the trailer Operating Data Recorder (ODR) into a package connected to ZF’s SCALAR cloud platform via its SCALAR EVO Pulse connectivity device. DHL Supply Chain Australia (DHL) has taken delivery of the first Volvo FM Electric prime mover in New South Wales. Adding to the company’s growing Electric Vehicle (EV) fleet, which includes Volvo and SEA Electric light duty trucks and Terberg yard tractors, the FM prime mover will run 10-hour shifts to move larger consignments between DHL’s western Sydney warehouse sites and its transport hub.
