Today the food team are in Brisbane enjoying a foodservice lunch at the Port Office Hotel. Listening to Jeremy Goodman from Carnival Cruises talk about their unique supply chain. Well done Minnie Constan and the Foodservice Suppliers Association Australia for another great event. Jeremy told us the average ship in Australia is serving 15,000 meals a day. They dock every ten days. That means OTIF is critical - orders need to be ‘on time in full’ and yes, dietaries and special requests need to be anticipated. He looks forward to the foodservice shows where he can meet all the suppliers under one roof.
