To kick off Climate Week in NYC frank green partner Parley for the Oceans hosted the Creating a New Economy event where leading environmentalists, creators, and innovators gathered to explore critical solutions to the challenges of plastic pollution and climate change. frank green was proud to support the important gathering with the debut of the Parley Collection Ceramic Reusable Bottles. Under the title “Creating a New Economy,” Parley showcased a selection of the bio- and regenerative materials poised to revolutionise the modern world and invited guests to participate in the critical work of supporting solutions that address today’s major environmental challenges. The talks explored how we can address the interconnected crises of plastic pollution and climate change through creativity, collaboration and eco-innovation. To mirror the ideas and inspiration shared on stage, tangible solutions were exhibited through the reception space. At the evening’s close, guests were gifted a Parley Ocean Bag that included a Parley x frank green bottle — a symbol of change and a simple, effective way to be part of the movement every day.

Exciting news! We’re thrilled to share that frank green’s Switch Lid has been recognised by Australia’s International Good Design Australia Awards for Excellence in Design and Innovation. Great design is at the heart of everything we do, so when we developed the Switch Lid, our goal was to create the ultimate drinking experience! We succeeded in allowing users to seamlessly switch between sipping and gulping. Here’s what the judges had to say about our innovative design: “The touch-free lid represents a significant advancement in hydration technology, blending hygiene and functionality seamlessly. We're excited to announce that frank green has partnered with iconic Australian designer CHRISTOPHER ESBER to create an exclusive collection of Christopher Esber Ydra 595 Reusable Bottles. Celebrating Christopher Esber's second show on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar at Palais de Tokyo on 26th September 2024, these limited edition bottles made their debut in the hands of VIP guests at the Spring Summer 25 presentation. Three stunning designs: Beluga Chrome, Cola Chrome and Olive Chrome – coinciding with the launch of Christopher Esber’s Resort 25 Collection. Christopher Esber shared, “With mutual values in innovation, artisanal craftsmanship, and embracing the principle of mindful production, it was natural to collaborate with frank green on the creation of our Christopher Esber Ydra 595 Reusable Bottle.”

To close out Plastic Free July, frank green x Parley for the Oceans partnered on a coastal clean up at Jawbone Reserve in Williamstown. Here we learnt about Parley's AIR strategy: Avoid. Intercept. Redesign and faced shocking truths about how much plastic really washes up on our coastlines. We removed a total of 137kg of debris from the beach. A huge thank you to Parley and Parks Victoria for helping organise such a special day for our team. Teamwork, fun and a lot of heart — just another day at work!

📢 frank green x Parley for the Oceans 📢 To mark Plastic Free July, we are announcing our long term partnership with global environmental organisation, Parley for the Oceans! United in purpose driven missions, we'll raise awareness and education on ocean conservation and preservation globally. Our partnership will support individuals and organisations around the world in their goal to take direct action against the use and production of plastic pollution and inspire enduring environmental awareness through community education, plastic interception, material science and eco-innovation projects. To date, Parley Australia has protected over 14m square meters of beach and coastlines, diverting 102,000kgs of waste from Australian coastal ecosystems through over 350 coastal clean ups and with the help of over 6,000 volunteers. How amazing is that?
