Let’s be frank. Our content squad is next level. On Monday we announced our partnership with frank green, with the most epic launch video. Within 48 hours the reel has clocked: - Half a million views 👀 - 430 shares - 9K likes Want to know the strategy behind this video? - MUST hook people in the first 3 seconds. - Create a story about our reusable water bottle, coffee cup and “smoothie transportation device”, and position them as the heroes of the video. - Highlight our product USPs: our three exclusive affirmations. I am strong. I am capable. I am confident. Your daily reminder that you’ve got this! - Emphasise (with a bit of mayo) how people will feel when they take one sip from our confidence-boosting collection. - Leaning into our Kic’s fun, relatable, authentic and confident personality - Include BTS and fails - our community loves it when we break the fourth wall! And guess what? From strategy to execution, our team pulled this video off in less than 24 hours. Legends to say the least. Celebrating our best KICPOD month EVER. 🎉 Shout out to Laura Henshaw, Alice Harris, Lindsey Green and everyone from our Kic and Listnr Australia teams who worked across the Do I Want Kids? Mini series. And to the 1000 women who generously shared their story to shape this series, thank you. We are incredibly grateful. 🙏

Super proud of this one. Last month, we launched the mini series ‘Do I Want Kids?’ mid May and we had our best month ever for the KICPOD. We surpassed 200k unique listeners for our first month ever (we hit 220k), growing by 55% MoM. Across the 7 episodes we interviewed 15 community members, created over 20 pieces of social content reaching 1 million+ people and most importantly went through over 1,000 responses from the community about their journeys / stories and questions about wanting / not wanting children. Off the back of this series I had the incredible opportunity to voice this taboo topic across the likes of The Morning Show, Today Extra, New York Post, Mamamia, FOX FM, KIIS FM and more. It was one of the most fulfilling projects I have ever worked on and another reminder of the importance of bringing people on the journey. While we weren’t able to feature 1k people in the podcast, we were able to create something that they were a part of and something that helped them feel seen. So proud to have been a part of it, and of the incredible team that made it possible. And for everyone who contributed, listened and shared. If you haven’t listened yet, you can binge listen to the full series now.

As Laura Henshaw said, "Aspirational is out. Being relatable is in." We polled over 7,000 community members and found that 85% of people are feeling 'mid' right now. The strategy for our mid-year campaign? Meet our community where they are, and make it extra mid! Today we Kic'd off our mid-year challenge. It's not about going hard or completely overhauling your life, it's about taking small, sustainable steps to feel a little less mid. A huge effort from our entire product and marketing teams to pull this off. Sick of feeling meh? Come Kic' it with us! https://lnkd.in/gcCFXa2w

The D&M on the stuff that matters… Yesterday, our KICPOD queens, Laura Henshaw and Steph Claire Smith, presented a [brilliantly inspiring] keynote session to a packed out auditorium at Cannes in Cairns with Southern Cross Austereo. A deep dive into… 👉 Their personal experiences with toxic diet culture. 👉 Kic’s brand story. Buckle up, it’s a goodie. 👉 How authenticity, relatability and connection is testament to Kic’s success. 👉 Community is the core of EVERYTHING we do. 👉 The power of long form content. 👉 The importance of aligning with brands that resonate with our brand values. In a world where attention is the ultimate currency, establishing an authentic, unique voice has never been so important. And that’s what Kic does best. Shout out to Aimee Edwards from B&T for covering the keynote: https://lnkd.in/g22E3g3d #podcast #partnership

Did you spot our co-founder Steph Claire Smith in the The Australian Financial Review yesterday? 👀

View profile for Steph Claire Smith, graphic

Chief Community Officer & Co-Founder of Kic

Would I build a faceless brand in 2024? No. As humans we love connecting and communicating with people. Yes, it’s great when a brand aligns with our values. But when you’re able to resonate with the founder’s story and truly understand why it was created, you become so much more invested. We’re seeing it with the rise of EGC (employee generated content). We’re hungry to know the people behind the brand. At Kic, our low-fi BTS content is far outperforming our polished campaigns. People are craving raw, real and relatable content. Which is testament to the success of Kic. Since Laura Henshaw and I launched Kic in 2015, we’ve been front and centre of our brand. It’s our vulnerability and authenticity that has helped us build our highly engaged community of over 2.5 million beautiful people. We built a brand by sharing our story. And as a result, The Australian Financial Review has shared our brand story. Thank you to the incredible storyteller, Julie-anne Sprague https://lnkd.in/gCfNqStA

Having children is one of the biggest decisions we'll ever make. Last year Kic’s co-founder, Laura Henshaw opened up on the podcast for the first time about her anxieties about having children. Your messages of support, encouragement, and "I feel exactly the same as you," are what inspired this miniseries. 'Do I Want Kids' is for everyone who is feeling isolated or overwhelmed with this decision. Let’s work through it, together. Over seven episodes you’ll hear Laura speak with people from all walks of life; from parenthood mentors to child-free advocates, career-driven professionals, stay-at-home mums, young and older parents, relationship experts, medical specialists and finally her own husband Dalton, about this decision. With the final episode dropping tomorrow, have you tuned in? We’d love to know your thoughts so far! https://lnkd.in/gBEsibH7 #podcast
